eumeX Instrumentebau GmbH was incorporated in 1992 in Heidenrod, Germany. In the early years the main business was repairing liquid nitrogen cooled Si(Li) detectors from any manufacturer, though the very most EDS detectors to be repaired came from European Kevex customers.
Being a manufacturer of high-quality Si(Li) crystals seperates us from any other repair facility in Germany and enables us to offer full performance upgrades and also new EDS detector systems.

About iXRF Systems, Inc.

IXRF Systems was incorporated on October 1st, 1993 in the state of Texas / USA. The company originally began by upgrading Kevex bulk X-ray Fluorescence systems to modern Windows based systems. IXRF’s owners and key developers are ex-Kevex personnel. It is from these XRF beginnings that the name iXRF is derived. IXRF quickly expanded it's product offerings to include Microanalysis systems. Today, Microanalysis systems make up the majority of iXRF's business.
