Iridium Ultra - DirectAcquire™

The DirectAcquire™ features of the software are used in conjunction with the acquired SEM image. Once the image is acquired X-Ray Spectra, X-ray Linescans, and X-ray Maps can be obtained from the SEM image. All data is then stored as a single file, or in EDS DataSets.

Once the image is acquired, choose the DirectAcquire Spot Mode and click on one or multiple spots within the SEM image. A spectrum window opens for each spot and starts acquiring automatically.

Or choose the DirectAcquire Rectangle Mode and create one or multiple rectangles within the SEM image. A spectrum window opens for each rectangular area and starts acquiring automatically.

In DirectAcquire Freehand Area Mode you can draw any shape on the SEM image. A spectrum window opens for each area and starts acquiring automatically.
